Since Miles' baptism fell on the 1st of August which is normally a day we celebrate with some traditions that we had to skip this year. So, my sweet mom-in-law let us have a belated Swiss National Day party at her house while we were in Monterey.

And the kids were finally able to do their favorite-the lantern parade:
