Karate Graduation

Miles had his first Karate graduation last night. He is now a yellow belt (which is basically the first belt you can earn following the white belt which they hand everyone when they start Karate to keep their robes closed).

Anyway, as part of the graduation ceremony all of the students had to display certain skillz. Yes, with a "z". Or they would be shamed and shunned from society ... no. That is not true. They just kind of displayed a bit of what they had learned while all parents and siblings were encouraged to (I'm not making this up) clap and cheer THE WHOLE TIME. I clapped when Miles was doing "stuff", but I just couldn't clap for an hour and show how excited I was that whole time.
