Brandon Mull

Miles LOVES the "Fablehaven" series. The author, Brandon Mull, was at our local Barnes & Noble signing autographs. I've never met someone with less guile. This guy was so nice. He asked the kids what liked to do for fun. We told him that Miles' first grade teacher is his neighbor (Mrs. Molynuex) and he was so embarrassed that he was "hawking" his books.

Update:
On Thursday Miles and I went to the Orem City Library to listen to Brandon Mull answer questions, read from his new series "The Beyonders".
While we were there Miles had Brandon Mull sign his cousin Clark's first "Fabelhaven" book (Miles borrowed it over a year ago and now hwe finally need to give it back):

Wow, I'm jealous that you guys got to meet him. I should probably pay attention to when he's doing book signings and such. :) When the last Fablehaven came out I saw a post that he made on facebook about autographed copies being sold online so I immediately bought one for the boys (for me, really). They loved it. Hyrum, Sean and I have all read the books multiple times. He's my favorite author and one of the boys' favorites too.

I wish you lived closer, Meggie! Brandon Mull is going to be answering questions at the Orem City Library tomorrow at 7:00. I'm taking Miles while Lily and Brian go to a Daddy/Daughter luau at the church.
