Spring Break Ends

Well, the kids had a fun time over Spring Break. When asked in piano class what they did for their Spring Break, Miles said "We watched a lot of movies", which yes, we did. But we did get outside an play a bit, too. Lest people think we're complete couch potatoes, here are a couple of pictures of their day in the park this weekend.

This first one is from when Miles excitedly ran over to meet his cousin Rosalyn and Uncle Will and Aunt Betty. In his haste, the ball he was kicking along ended up in the stream at the park that empties into a small lake. Uncle Will waded into mouth of the stream to try and catch the ball, but it got caught and wouldn't come out for a while:


Of course, it didn't come down until after he waded back out and away.


Luckily, the wind blew back to the shore shortly after this picture. And speaking of wind, the kids also had fun flying their kite. Here is Miles and his cousin Jayden flying the kite.
