Halloween 2009

On Friday after school Lilette won this certificate prize at a friend's Halloween party:

For wearing this dress. She was pretty excited:


Miles costume this year was a doctor and Brian dressed up as his patient. Brian took the kid's Trick-or-Treating in our neighborhood and a lot of people were confused and concerned that Brian was actually injured. I guess that means we did a good job at making him look traumatized:

Beth's friend Kaelynn also embroidered "Miles" onto his scrub top. No one saw it on Halloween but Miles was thrilled to death!

For piano class on Saturday morning Lilette was dressed as Felicity Merriman (an American Girl character from 1774). Beth's costume matched Lilette's but officially she was supposed to be Felicity's mother, Mrs. Merriman:

Beth tried to make their dresses to match the dolls' dresses from the book "Felicty's Surprise: A Christmas Story":
