Gingerbread House Festival

Beth went with Miles and his cub scout den to the Gingerbread House Festival at Thanksgiving Point, today. Miles and Beth had a great time drinking hot cocoa, getting their faces painted, and looking at all of the amazing edible creations!
This was Miles favorite gingerbread house. It is #12 Grimmauld Place from "Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix":

Here are Miles and his friend Jonah frosting their gingerbread cookies:
Here is a gingerbread house that looks like a Harley Davidson shop that is down the street from our house on Geneva Road in Orem. Miles said, "This looks very familiar":
This gingerbread house looks a lot like Miles favorite books "FABELHAVEN". It has magical creatures and even had a purple mist (probably dry ice) that floated out of a pond:

This gingerbread house won first prize. I thought it was really cool because (obviously) it depicts the temple where I married my sweetheart:

Oh hooray! Keep posting Christmas things, it will help us try to wiggle into some Christmas spirit here among the palm trees.
