Quick Trip to Disneyland

Last weekend we drove down to Southern California for Brian's niece's wedding in Redlands CA. Brian and I thought that as long as we were down there, we could take the kids to the happiest place on earth. We could only stay for 1 day, so we had a short list of things we must do and a long list of things we would like to do. Because the rain kept the big crowds away, we were able to do nearly everything we wanted (almost close to everything Lilette and Miles wanted - but they did have a great time.) In fact on Sunday they both told me they were ready to go back. HA! That is not going to happen for while.

We all look tired, wet and cold but I love this picture because it is the only one we have of our whole family at Disneyland. Usually Brian is taking a picture of me & the kids or I am taking a picture of him & the kids-so this one is special.

Here are the silhouettes we had done this Disney trip. (I'm not happy about having a receding hair line.) The kids think it's pretty cool so I'm sure it will be a happy memory for them and an heirloom they will treasure long after Brian and I are gone. (Brian sez: That is a morbid thought)

Here is a video of Captain Hook attacking Lilette's Tinker Bell pen:
BTW-I HATE the sound of my own voice so you can mute it if you want to :)

I'm not sure what this Character's name is (Goofy's son, maybe) but the kids were VERY excited to see him.

Here is the Fairy God Mother telling Miles he looks just like Price Charming. He went red but we think was secretly very flattered.

Here is one of Lilette's dream coming true - meeting Tinker Bell:

Here is a photo of Miles, Lilette, and Brian soaking wet in line for Pirates of the Caribbean (so you can't really tell because it is dark, but I promise, it is the Pirates ride):

Here are Lilette and Miles with Wall-E:

It was a REALLY quick trip. I didn't have time to visit any of my family or friends in CA. So, I'll give a shout out to Kristy in Anaheim & Chyelin in Santa Maria now to make up for my lack of manners.

Yeah, I didn't even know you were coming down. It would have been so nice to see you. I am glad that you had a nice time down here. Next time, though you have to tell me, and hopefully we can get together.

Oh how fun! Wish I knew you were going there because Jennilyn is doing a college internship there right now and could've gotten you guys some fun freebies and stuff. She works in the Guest Relations department,so she does the VIP tours, etc. We are going down there next week, so excited! Anyways, loved the fun pictures and how great to have the park more to yourselves. Thanks for sharing!

That is a total bummer! I should have hooked up with you, Kristy, & Jennilyn. I wasn't thinking straight. We had just driven all night from Orem & my only real concern was that the cam-corder might get ruined in the rain.
Heather & family,
Have a great trip!!

looks like tons of fun even if it was a little wet....BTW, Goofey's son is Max. I don't know why I know that, but I do. Ha.
