Birthday Boy

I suppose it is a common tradition to do the whole breakfast-in-bed thing, and our family is no different. On our birthday, we get to wake up to a fun bed-side breakfast on a tray, have everyone gather around the bed and sing "Happy Birthday", and then open a couple of presents.


The only problem is trying to wake up enough to enjoy the birthday morning ambush. And I say "ambush" in the most loving way possible because it is nice. :) But you can probably see here how I am still in a stupor of sleep:

In the evening, we went up to Beth's parents so that they could watch the kids while Beth and I went out with her sister and her husband, Sandy and Mike (whose birthday was this week as well so we decided to celebrate together). We went out to a Sushi place:
