It was a good lead into Mother's Day. This morning Brian and the kids made me breakfast in bed & gave me cute potted plant shaped LEGO's , a living potted plant (a "thousand baby"), and some perfume. I am one lucky mama!!!
Earlier this week Lilette and Miles brought home their Spring school pictures. We didn't know there was such a thing. But we'll take them, anyway:

Lilette's teacher , Mr. Van Cott, is retiring. She is pretty upset she won't get to say "hello" to him next year like she has been able to with her past teachers. I keep trying to explain how happy he will be and how he wants to travel with his wife next year. I don't think she'll really understand until she's an adult. Here's Lilette giving her teacher some of our lilacs at his retirement party:
Thank heaven for amazing teachers who have done so much for our kids!
Miles is climbing doorways more often now because his cousin, Clark, told him it was called the "SpiderMan". So now it's extra cool.

How fun! The pictures of your cutie pies turned out so great! Ryen had marker on her face last time and a smirk that said, "Yep! I did it on purpose!" Ugh.
It sounds like you had a great Mother's Day. I am so glad! You totally deserve it! Love you.
Glad you had a great Mothers Day! Your kids spring pictures are cute.
Those sweet pictures! You have the cutest kids, I don't think I tell you that enough. And Miles must have webs on his feet to be able to climb up those door ways.
I'm sure Scott and Jordan did the same thing when they were kids. I remember all of my brothers climbing doorways and even looking down on us from the ceiling mission impossible style. I thought Miles had grown out of this phase until an older cousin resurrected it:)
