Draper Temple Dedication

On Sunday we went to the Draper Temple Dedication at our Stake Center. A big thanks to Sandy, my sister, for babysitting Miles so that Brian, Lilette & I could all go together.

Afterward Lilette called Granmama (Brian's mom) to tell her all about the Dedication. Lilette told Carolyn that the handkerchief part was her favorite thing. Brian's mom laughed & told me, "you know the handkerchief part is the only thing I remember from my first temple dedication, too.". Then I realized it was the same for me with the Bountiful Temple. I remember nothing except the handkerchief part (and I must have been at least 16 years old because Brian was on a mission during the Bountiful Temple Open House and was in Hungary by that time).

Lilette really enjoyed picking out her handkerchief. We only take them out for special occasions so she put a lot of thought into which one she would use. I ended up with one of Mumzy's (my grandmother n my mother's side) and Lilette ended up with one of my Grandma's from my father's side.

Here's to good memories.
